How the secret to happiness can be in changing your habits?
Posted by: | Comments
We all have habits that we could change for the better, I do anyway, don’t you? Are you looking at your life in a positive way or negative way? Has this become a habit?
We all know that attitude has a lot to do with happiness. Something goes wrong during the day and we talk to ourselves and say, “Man that always happens to me.” Now what if you could change what you say when things don’t go right. Instead of “Man that always happens to me,” you would say, “Don’t know why that happened, but something good can come out of it, it always does.”
Happiness versus productivity

The question has been given to me by Corinne Edward: “How we feel we have to be productive in order to justify our being on this planet.” I would say that this is a why we feel we have to be productive in order to justify our being on this planet. What do you think?
My answer to that question is actually very simple: Society
An example of this is: You are at a social even; what is one of the first questions someone will ask you? “What do you do?”
Laughter Therapy Brings Happiness
Posted by: | CommentsI met an amazing woman yesterday. When I asked her what she did for a job,
she told me she was a Laughter Therapist. I stared at her. And then I smiled. Imagine having that as a job title? I decided to find out more about it, so we sat down and had a good chat.
One for the Road…Is This a Secret to happiness?
Posted by: | CommentsHaving a stiff drink is one of the most sociable things we can do, and most
people enjoy alcohol responsibly as part of their natural social routine. However, there can be no denying that the lure of alcohol when we are feeling stressed or miserable becomes pretty strong. A stiff drink provides a fuzzy feeling which temporarily distracts us from the cold hard facts of life, offering a temporary reprieve from whatever issues we are trying to cope with.
Are You Happy in Just Some Areas of Life?

Have you found that you see yourself different then what other sees you? Does any person really know who you are and what you stand for? Sometimes we hide behind a mask and not wanting someone to know us. I know I have done this many times.
When in the work environment my co workers had no idea who I really was and most people don’t really care nor have the time to figure you out. This is ok, because opinions are just that, OPINIONS.
The Power of Family Ties Brings Happiness within
Posted by: | CommentsYou can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family. How many
times have you heard that phrase? And yet, one of the most powerful parts of our family is the fact that you didn’t choose them. They are our kin, whether we like it or not. Admittedly, it can be infuriating when your mother-in-law turns her nose up at the dust in the house, or your sibling calls in the middle of yet another crisis.
St. John’s Wort – Is it Nature’s Smile for Happiness?
Posted by: | CommentsAnti-depressants are the most prescribed drug in the US. This is an interesting fact, because it either means that people are taking responsibility for their own happiness and choosing to do something to improve it, or that we are essentially all pretty stressed with modern living.
Whichever way you look at it, there’s no doubt that the quest for happiness can lead people to do anything possible to improve their situation. With one person in every five estimated to suffer from some form of mental health problem, it’s not surprising that we are turning to drugs to try and combat issues such as stress, depression and anxiety.
Does Happiness Come Down to One Solitary Life?
Posted by: | CommentsHere is a video about “One Solitary Life.” Can you find happiness by accepting this One Solitary Life?
I have to admit that this is why I found my happiness within. No I am not one of those people that go to church every chance I get. In fact I probably should go to church. I go when the little ones get baptized and maybe on a special occasion, but don’t count on it. When my children were younger I did make sure we went to church and they went to Sunday school just so they were given the opportunity to learn about Christianity like I was.

You are Unique and This Makes for Happiness Within
Posted by: | CommentsYou want to choose happiness, stop comparing your life with someone else. We are all unique in our own way. To find your happiness you have to like who you are. As John Mason put it, “You were born an original. Don’t die a copy.”
When you were made you were made unique and by comparing yourself to someone else you are insulting your maker. You take away your purpose from this world. Ever individual is made so they can contribute to the world and touch the lives they were meant to, while here on this earth.
