Yes, The Associated Press has an article written by Randolph E. Schmid titled, “Happiness will run you $75,000 a year.

Let me tell you a little story about money buying happiness!

I learn this lesson years ago when I was a single parent trying to raise 3 daughters.  The more I thought about the money I didn’t have the less money I had.  To correct this problem I started doing a lot of reading about my self-discipline and character.  Learning about whom I really was and what I realized; that who I was is how I saw myself.  Obviously this was not good.  I made the choice to change how I seen myself and that changed who I was.

Happiness Within

In these hard times I am getting the impression that everybody thinks money is going to make them happy.  What the heck are you people thinking?  Money can help you live more comfortable, but it isn’t going to make you happy.  Happiness is within you.

Money is just a tool like anything else that is material.  Did you ever stop to think that maybe when you get money that you don’t use it right and that is why you don’t have any?  At least it gives you an excuse to be unhappy.  When we are unhappy we always have to have something to blame it on.
