Reports are always talking about the expense of having children, but they never mention the benefits. I think it is time we take a look at the benefits of children.
Here is what the government calculates the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 for a middle income family $160,140.00. I know that is a price shock and it doesn’t even take in the cost of college.

Posted by: | CommentsThis weekend is Grandparent day and I have a lot to celebrate. We did have that new little one arrive August 31. It was another precious little girl. We now have 5 little girls and that 1 cool little boy. I can’t complain after all one little guy is better than none.
This grand parenting is really wonderful. Guess I feel this way, because I never had any grandparents. I can remember during holidays all the kids I went to school with would say, “I’m going to my grandparent’s house for Christmas.” Always wished that I had a place like that to go on holidays!
