We all clearly deserve to have happiness. There can be many reasons for unhappiness in our lives and my job is to find out what your reasons are when those unhappy days creep in. Listed below are 3 reason for unhappiness, do you find yourself in one of those reasons?
1. Relationships or Love can steal away happiness.
Sometimes we may find that our relationships just aren’t what we hoped they would be. We want to feel more love and appreciation. We may feel unconnected in the relationship and don’t know what to do about it. This could be in an intimate relationship or with family and friends. Not feeling the love can take away the happiness.
2. Loving yourself is another pit fall when it comes to finding happiness.
We forget how special we are, and don’t realize that there is no one like us to fill those wonderful shoes we were put here to fill. This can happen when we were children and we just believe what others say and start talking to ourselves in a negative manner.
3. Maybe we are looking for the spiritual side of life and it just doesn’t seem to be there.
Many times as children we had no one guiding us with our spiritual side and as we get older it feels like something is missing and we can’t put a finger on the problem. It is like wondering around in the dark trying to find the light switch.
Which category are you having the most problem with? We all need balance in our lives and these 3 categories can set us back and stop the balance of happiness. The purpose of this article is to find out how I can serve you best when it comes to having a happy life.
When someone comes to you and says they have a problem, we need to know what the problem is before we can help. I definitely understand that you come to my blog looking for answers and I want to give you the best information and resources that are humanly possible. I would really appreciate you picking the category that fits into your life. There is no right or wrong answer; everyone has different things going on in their life that can affect happiness.
Do you fit into any of these categories when it comes to finding the happiness that you clearly deserve? Please cast your vote.
Thank you for taking the time to guide me on our quest for happiness. If you have any other categories you would like to add please feel free to do so in the comment box below. Thanks again!
You are deeply appreciated.

How apt!
I have found that no matter how happy we are within ourselves, or spiritually, the people we allow into our lives have the power to dramatically effect our happiness.
But relationships are all a part of life, aren’t they?
They are great teachers, and we need to experience them.

Hi Jacqueline,
You are so right when it comes to the people we allow into our lives. If we let them they can effect our happiness. Life can be learning how to enjoy the right relationships and letting go of the relationships that take away the happiness. It is like having someone dump a bag of garbage into your house. We wouldn’t allow someone to do that, so we also need to control the garbage people try to dumb in our minds.
People are great teachers and we do need to experience them and keep a positive attitude.
Thank you for your great comment.

Hi Debbie,
Happiness starts from with in. Many people depend on someone else to make them happy, which is why many people are not happy in life unfortuantely because they look for external things. Happy people know that they are responsible for their own happiness. Thanks for sharing

Hi Dia,
Thank you Dia for putting happiness like it is. The external things are only a quick fix for happiness. You are right know one can make you happy, but yourself. It is all about seeing the positive side of life and enjoying the little things.
May you always be blessed with happiness,
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
This is another great post! I think the root for all unhappiness is the lack of self-love. I’ve actually been thinking about this alot lately – the difficulty of loving ourselves. If we don’t love ourselves we won’t have satisfactory relationships. There will always be something off. Perhaps through spirituality we can obtain self-love. If we love our maker we will love their creations. I’m sure it’s different for everyone. This is a subject worthy of alot of thought:) Thanks

Hi Dandy,
I very much agree with you, “the root for all unhappiness is the lack of self-love.” The problem that I have run across is that people are unhappy about other things in there lives like, relationships, spiritual, lack of external things and they don’t understand that it is linked to self-love. I like to teach others that “God doesn’t make junk.” Everyone is special. Thank you Dandy for your thoughts, they are really appreciated.

Hi – I only just came across this blog, and just wanted to say how true it is. I recently walked away from a marriage which meant losing a huge house, 4 holidays a year and all the luxuries money can bring. I am now 10 months into a relationship with somebody who hasn’t a pot to pee in and I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been. I have found out who my true friends are, and I enjoy sitting in Pizza express with them, and my loved one, far more than I ever did in Nobu with my ex. Many thanks!
Andrea
Hi Andrea,
Thank you for sharing your story. Money can’t by happiness is what it sounds like you found out and that is wonderful. I am very happy that you have found this wonderful man. Wealth is in the heart not the bank.
Blessing to you
Debbie
