When was the last time you took time for yourself? Just to stop for an hour, ten minutes or even just five minutes in your own company, away from the stresses and strains of your life?
We all lead such busy lives these days, whether we are working a job and running a household or raising children at the same time as looking after an elderly relative, sometimes we need to stop and think of ourselves as well. Just imagine you were so exhausted that you couldn’t do any of the things you need to do every day, who would do grandma’s shopping then? Who would take the kids to cheerleading or football practice? Not only do we deserve a break sometimes, that little bit of ‘me’ time is essential for keeping our bodies working the way they are supposed to.
