When you expect miracles you see the world as an adventure and opportunity keeps
knocking at your door.
Do you claim that miracles can’t happen? If so it is time to sharpen your attitude, yourself motivation and focus on the positive. What are you waiting for? Here are a few tips to focus on and watch the miracles come rolling in.
- The miracle isn’t going to happen if you don’t get in the game. Set your goal and start taking small steps toward it. You will hit some of the shots you are aiming for, if you miss watch for the miracle.
- Those setbacks are miracles waiting to happen. Think positive and know that there is opportunity just waiting for you to see. In a dark room there are always doors to open.
- Stop being your worst enemy. If you make a mistake move forward and learn by it. Do something to lift your spirits when this happens. You may be surprised as the momentum returns.
- Always choose to appreciate and miracles can follow. Start your day by feeling blessed and full of appreciation to unleash those miracles.
- Life can be serious, but remember to take yourself lightly. Laugh and let go of the worries. You know the old expression, “Someday we’ll laugh about this.” Don’t wait, laugh today. Laughter is a miracle waiting to happen. Don’t let it slip away.
There are times in everyone’s life we could use a miracle, especially in these hard times we are living through now. Miracles do happen every day; we just don’t stop to realize it.
I realize this article is a little different, but change can be good, right? I was getting out of my box here and hoping you would have fun. With these five links I have put in maybe one of them will help you find your miracle if you need one.
Good, bad or ugly let me know what you think. I do have a sense of humor. Thanks it is appreciated one way or the other.
Debbie

“the miracle isn’t going to happen unless you get in the game.” I agree if you want of need something action seems to make it happen. Inaction is the best way to have nothing happen but it is a way to avoid disappointment.
I don’t believe much in miracles. I think you reap what you sow and what others sow for you sometimes. What ever you believe, action makes it happen, as a matter of acting on faith or as a method. Thanks for writing this. We need to be reminded constantly.

Hi Bruce,
Sometimes people don’t act upon a dream or idea, because of the fear on disappointment. On the other hand you never know unless you try. Those dreams or ideas can be a miracle in the working.
You say, ” I think you reap what you sow and what others sow for you sometimes.” This can be true, but when I lost my job I thought this was a bad thing, but it did turn out to be a miracle and others did sow that situation for me. They did me one of the biggest favors anyone could do for me. When people think of miracles they always think of big things, there are so many little things that happen that are miracles we don’t even notice them. When we say or do something that really touches someones life and makes a difference for them the rest of there life, we may not even realize this happened, but it is a miracle for them.
Miracles come in all sizes and shapes. To me it is fun watching them happen.
You are welcome Bruce and may you always see those little miracles in your day.

Debbie, there is much truth in your words. People who don’t believe in miracles are not realists. Re that to win you must participate, I’m reminded of a lottery company’s ad campaign – “100% of those who won had bought a ticket!” PS. Personally, I’m not a lottery man, but you get the drift. Finally, when it comes to miracles, my favorite quote is Einstein’s, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
- Beat
.-= Beat Schindler´s last blog ..The Recession Can Be A Good Kick In The Butt =-.
Good morning Beat. I like this, ““There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” I guess I am one that looks at things like everything is a miracle. Anyone that wins the lottery is a miracle to my way of thinking. It takes a miracle to win it, but I’m like you I really don’t get into that. I like to spend that buck on popcorn instead.
Thanks for the quote and have a wonderful day,
Debbie
Hi Debbie, it was very well said! Miracles are a wonder performed by supernatural power as signs of some special mission or gift and explicitly ascribed to God. An effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. In casual usage, “miracle” may also refer to any statistically unlikely but beneficial event, which happening every minute of our life.
Hi Andy,
I agree very much with you. I love to see those little and big miracles happen. It just really get’s me when people think there has to be an explanation for everything that happens. My daughter had a car accident once and lost control of her car and went across four lanes of traffic on a busy free way and know one hit her. the only injury she had was from an airbag. Now that was a miracle. I always say give credit, where credit is do.
Thanks Andy for your input and you have a very wonderful day and enjoy those little and big miracles that take place every day.

Dear Debbie -
I think I saw a miracle last night.
There have been four drownings in Chicago in Lake Michigan this week. And two on the Indiana side.
There have been warnings about something called “riptides” Some sort of a strong current than drags you out into the deep water. People were told to stay in very shallow water.
Last night I was sitting outside. I live right on the lake,
There was a parasailor or a small sailboat far out in the water which was very rough. Strong waves. I could see a red sail.
Suddenly, it disappeared. I waited to see if he would resurface.
Twenty minutes later, he hadn’t. Gor my binoculars. Nowhere to be seen.
I called 911 who then called the coast guard. It was now 45 minutes. They were about to launch the helicopters. The water out there is very cold.
Magically, he appeared coming toward the shore.
That guy must have had some powerful angel helping him.
I think it was a miracle. What do you think?

Dear Corinne,
Wow it sounds like you were there at the right place and the right time and yes, this is a miracle. Isn’t it cool. You think about this situation and how everything just fell into place and then he appears. I would say that there was an angel and isn’t that part of miracles? I don’t know about you, but I love the fact that someone is looking out for me at all times. I have to say I am so proud of you for paying attention to what was happening around you. There are many of people that don’t do that.
You have a wonderful day and thank you so much for sharing. What I really find cool is that I talk about miracles and there you are seeing one at the same time. really neat!

Debbie, I’m sure miracles exist although I can’t say I’ve been a part of one. I’ve been at the ‘right place at the right time’ a few times. and maybe that counts as a miracle….Wouldn’t we all love to experience and inyourfaceohmygosh miracle, but I think they come in small quiet packages, open to us if we watch and listen.
Hi Michelle,
Yes, miracles can come in small quiet packages. And we do have to watch and listen. I would say being at the right place at the right time is a miracle. To me how our bodies work is a miracle in itself. All these parts working together for the good of each other. Corinne comment is a big miracle, but it is fun to watch for the little ones.
You have a wonderful day and weekend Michelle.

I think miracles are so common that people don’t recognize them when they see them. I enjoyed your links, thanks! Some cheesy music on a couple of them but I did enjoy the sentiments and thoughts, many thanks. Made me smile, one of my 14 times a day I’m supposed to!
.-= Joel´s last blog ..The Beauty Of Lurking =-.
Joel you make me laugh. I am very glad to be there for you to help with your 14 smiles a day. I very much agree with you, “I think miracles are so common that people don’t recognize them when they see them. ”
i’ll try to ditch the cheese music next time. See you still make me laugh. But hey, I’m just a laughing kind of gal. Thanks Joel and for the smile too. Have a great one.

Raymond you are right. You can not just sit back and wait for a miracle, but you can act on whatever the situation may be and pray for one. Sometimes we don’t realize that we may need a little miracle, but then we get one and say, “Wow that is really cool.” As I talk about in my video. I didn’t know that I was going to need one that day, but I sure did get one. I just love watching those little ones appear.
Here is to you and any miracles you may be in need of. Have a great day.

Great fun!
I love the quotes one.
When I think of miracles I think of big unexpected changes (for the better) but like Joel said, I’m sure miracles happen to many of us, everyday and we don’t know.
Perhaps when you have run out of milk and the milkman is 2 hours early!
Andrew
.-= Andrew @ Blogging Guide´s last blog ..Blog Content- Make It Easy For People To Find =-.
Hi Andrew,
Yes, running out of milk and the milkman is 2 hours early, that is a small miracle. Very good example Andrew. Another example is people that have been going to fly somewhere and they miss there airplane and that plane doesn’t make it to its destination. Little delays can be miracles in your lives, but we first look at them as a problem.
Glad you had fun with this post. Have a wonderful afternoon and weekend
Debbie
Hi Debbie — Great post — thanks for the reminder to “get in the game.” I think miracles happen all around us everyday, but sometimes we forget to notice them.
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for the nice words and you are welcome. Yes I do believe miracle happen all around us every day. We can just get so busy that we forget to notice. You have a wonderful day Lisa and may it be full of miracles.

Interesting reading
I guess my two miracles are my sons, they keep me happy and make me laugh everyday.
To me yes, your two sons are miracles. Those are the best kind of miracles anyone can ask for. Oh, I love your picture of Scotland. They are beautiful and remind me of miracles.
Have a wonderful week end Ryan

Debbie,
“Stop being your worst enemy. If you make a mistake move forward and learn by it. Do something to lift your spirits when this happens. You may be surprised as the momentum return” – gosh I have a lot to learn!
Krizia
Hi Krizia,
It is amazing how we can be our worst enemy. We have to learn to see our selves like other people see us, then maybe we wouldn’t be as hard on ourselves. Krizia, no worries we all have a lot to learn. That is what life is about, learning a growing. You have a wonderful day. And you are not alone, I still have a lot to learn, but it is fun.

Hi Debbie,
You’re really living up to ‘the happymaker’ title with me… I smile every time I read your blog.
I would throw in one more thought on your powerful list of miracle tips.
Recognize the subtley miraculous!
In the movie, Watchmen, Dr Manhattan has an epiphany. He has always wanted to witness something that is so rare that it might be considered a ‘singularity event’ (or a ‘miracle’, for those of us with no degree in nuclear physics). He realizes that given all the things that had to occur for a given person with a given personality to be here… every human being is a miracle.
To take this a step further… Every moment is a miracle. Every moment is a gift.
It is easy to forget with the frustrations of life… I forget it virtually every day…
…and I do my best to remember it every day as well.
Whenever you have the time and presence of mind… I find it priceless to simply revel in the perfection of this moment… the miracle of life… the miracle of now… the miracle of eternity.
This is by far my favorite miracle… even when it is seemingly subtle.
keep smiling,
Benjamin

Hi Ben,
Thank you Ben. You know what I find really neat, is doing this blog it helps me to in seeing the brighter side of all things. I know what your mean when you said, “I find it priceless to simply revel in the perfection of this moment… the miracle of life… the miracle of now… the miracle of eternity.” Like Dr Manhattan says, I do believe that every person is a miracle.
Have you every sat there and thought about your life and if you hadn’t done or been certain places how different your life may be or someone else that you know and love? Example if I had not lived where I do, my children wouldn’t be here or they would be someone else. Life is a miracle. Thanks again Ben and have a very happy weekend, May every moment be wonderful.
Debbie
I love your blog. I’ll undoubtedly be peeping into it frequently.
Thank you very much. What part do you like? Just thought i would ask.
Stay happy,
