Does Happiness Come Down to One Solitary Life?

By Debbie Bills

Here is a video about “One Solitary Life.” Can you find happiness by accepting this One Solitary Life?

I have to admit that this is why I found my happiness within. No I am not one of those people that go to church every chance I get.  In fact I probably should go to church.  I go when the little ones get baptized and maybe on a special occasion, but don’t count on it.  When my children were younger I did make sure we went to church and they went to Sunday school just so they were given the opportunity to learn about Christianity like I was.

After I moved I never did find another church in my area that I really liked, but I guess I really haven’t tried that hard either.  I do say my prayers every day and always remember to thank the Lord for my many blessing.

Watching this video on “One Solitary Life” makes me realize that this is where happiness is.  I look at it this way:  The bible says, “God gave his only begotten Son to this world because of our sins.”   I know for myself that there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t do something wrong.  I was never known to be perfect and never will be.  This does not mean I can’t be happy it just means I need some help and it is there for me, so I can be happy.

Being a parent I can’t even fathom having to watch one of my children die. They say we have a Heavenly Father that loves us endlessly and he was willing to give his son to us and watch him die.  That is love, so if I want to find happiness the best place to start is at the top.  I figure this must be the top.

We create our own problems most of the time by our choices, but the one thing that I have found is when a problem arises I can ask for help and get it.  When I was a single parent and had very little it was pointed out to me that my children were what is important and the people that I loved and loved me.  Happiness is a new day and new beginning in that day and we are not alone.

I am not trying to sale you on religion, but just letting you know that I have found the right place to bring all the happiness into my life that anyone can ask for.  I have my problems just like anyone else, but I always know where to go for help if needed.

All I ask is that you take a few minutes to watch this video, “One Solitary Life” and give it some thought.  You may be surprised at the comfort and happiness it brings you.  When you get though watching the video stop and see if you are smiling, because of the love.

When you need one item you find the store that sales it. Happiness is like that to me.  This is the store that sales happiness and it cost me LOVE and GRATITUDE.

When you are trying to find your happiness within what store do you go too? I’d love to hear about it.

Yes. This is true for me also. When I ask for help… the help I truly need… I get it. No matter what I’ve gone through I’ve always landed on my feet. And, I thank God and Jesus Christ for that.

I know we all have our own belief systems and I absolutely support everyone choosing what they believe. Having been raised catholic/christian, my beliefs come from the bible. And, they give me great strength.

I’ve often been asked how it is that I’ve come to create my coaching program – the Passages to Empowerment, and how I am able to keep up with all of my coaching activities… website… blogging… radio show appearances…

Well, it all comes down to my belief in God and allowing him to support me and guide me. My coaching program didn’t come from me… it came through me.

    :) Susan

“All things work through the good of God”, and you are a great example of that Susan. It is amazing to watch him work, but the key I believe is to talk about it without scaring people off and making them think you are a religious nut of some kind.
      Thank you for speaking out.

One strong factor for being happy is contentment and taking responsibility of what God provides me in life.

The following are the principles I adopt in life that made me a happy person:

    a. To be happy is to create things to provides value in life.

    b. To be happy does not always needs some friends, but to provide anyone with help you can do.

    c. To be happy does not always to be rich, but taking good care what God provides and sharing it lovingly with others.

    d. Finally to be happy does not mean towering achievements, but to count every positive improvement with a feeling of success.

    Nice blog!

      Hi Jeanine,
Those are 5 great points to happiness Jeanine. You do have to appreciate and take responsibility for what God provides, otherwise he could take it away from you. As for being rich. People forget that being rich does not always consist of money. You can be rich in love of family and friends. Or just feel rich because you are alive and happy with God.
Thanks again for your 5 points they are deeply appreciated.
May you always have happiness in your life and weather any storms that come your way.
      Debbie
