Make Your Unhappiness Disappear Like Magic!
ByDo you ever sit around and whine about everything wrong in your life. This
house is a mess, the kids wouldn’t behave today; I especially hate my life today. Let’s face it whiners are not happy people. To be happy you can easily figure out why you are whining and make a choice to fix it.
Write it down
Let’s get busy and get rid of this unhappiness. Go get a pen and paper and start writing things down?
You don’t like your house? What don’t you like about it? Be sure and be specific with this list.
Are the kids giving you fits? Write down why you think this is happening and is there something you can change to make things better.
Everything that we whine about can be fixed if we understand what it is we are really whining about.
I hate whiners! I cannot figure out for the life of me, if something is wrong why they don’t just fix it, instead of whining and complaining. I guess I had to learn this the hard way too.
Everyone has choices
Being unhappy is a choice just like being happy is a choice. If you are unhappy make a list of the exactly why you are unhappiness. Most problems can be managed once we sort through them and find the real cause.
Right before I was divorce I would sudden get in a really bad mood? I didn’t like myself very much when this happened, but I wasn’t stopping to think about it until one day my girls pointed something out to me. They said, “Mom, every time dad is around you’re really in a bad mood.”
This really opened up my eyes and I started thinking. I knew the marriage was bad and that I need to get out of it, but just hadn’t worked up the courage to do this. Once the kids pointed out to me what was happening I knew it was time to make a break.
Yes, it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, but I sure was happier. I wasn’t whining and getting angry anymore.
Some people whine about being tired. Figure out why. Really are you getting enough sleep, is something physically wrong or are you drinking the wrong thing before bed and can’t get to sleep. Sometimes being tired all the time can be how you were raise when you were a child. Maybe you had a parent that said they were always tired. Obviously being tired would be part of your life. That’s what you heard when you were a child.
People whine about their weight. Well it is your choice in what you put into your mouth. What exercise you are NOT getting. Stop the whining and do something about it. My hubby lost 50 pounds and feels much better. However he will get on the scale and whine, because he has put on a pound or two. I just look at him and say, “Go get on the exercise bike or cut back on how much you are eating. “ I know that I am cooking the right things for him, so if he is putting some weight back on it is not my fault. It certainly is his choice on what and how much he is eating and whether he wants to exercise, so quite whining and do something about it.
You can create the life you want
Now that you definitely see where and how come the whining is happening, go get that pen a paper and start writing. Get down to the real problem, so it can be solved. If it is sleep you need, find out why you aren’t getting enough, if it is in your relationship, write down what makes you unhappy about it. If it is your job write down what bothers you about it. If it is your house or children, figure out exactly what is bothering you about it or them.
Stop the whining and take action. You are going to be very proud of yourself and find the happiness that you deserve for life.
Stop the whining, you only get one chance at life, make it really count!
