Here’s A Quick Way To Tell Happy People From Unhappy People!

By Debbie Bills

And it isn’t in there smile.
Why is it that some are people happy and others not so happy?  There are clearly some difference in happy people and unhappy people.

Happy people have a totally different frame of mind then unhappy people.  Maybe I’m not telling you anything you didn’t already know, but I live with a person that really isn’t the happiness man in the world.    He worries too much.  You can’t be happy if you are always worrying.

I have been keeping notes on my husband when it comes to his happiness and I have a list for you that I have clearly noticed between him and me.

poistive Heres A Quick Way To Tell Happy People From Unhappy People!

I am choosing happiness

Happiness    verses   Unhappiness.

  • Happy people are humble, if there right they know it and nothing more needs to be said.
  • Unhappy people let their ego’s get in the way to much and they are sure there right 90% of the time.
  • Happy people are certain of things.
  • Unhappy people doubt just about everything.
  • Happy people are more likely to help others.
  • Unhappy people always have something else to take care of or they don’t need my help anyway.
  • Happy people dream during the day.
  • Unhappy people only dream at night.
  • Happy people are better at accepting their fears and going for it.
  • Unhappy people want to weight everything first to see if they should take the leap.  If they think they can’t come out on top they will not take a chance.
  • Happy people look at failure as a learning experience.
  • Unhappy people call it a failure.
  • Happy people find solutions.
  • Unhappy people might find a solution for a problem after they are through whining about it, which could take some time.
  • Happy people believe there is always room to learn.
  • Unhappy people consider themselves pretty much an expert on most things.
  • Happy people make a promise and they will do whatever they can to keep that promise.
  • Unhappy people promise something and don’t even remember they promised it.
  • Happy people think of possibilities.
  • Unhappy people focus on obstacles that can get in there way of achieving.
  • Happy people see the cup half full.
  • Unhappy people see the cup half empty.
  • Happy people take responsibility for their actions, right or wrong.
  • Unhappy people look for someone or something to blame it on.
  • Happy people control their destiny.
  • Unhappy people think it is just their fate and learn to live with it rather than change anything.
  • Happy people find an opportunity waiting in a crisis.
  • Unhappy people complain and whine about the crisis.
  • Happy people don’t have a problem jumping out of their comfort zone.
  • Unhappy people feel safer in the comfort zone and are going to stay there if possible.

After reading those 15 differences can you see why he worries too much?  Actually I am starting to have a lot of fun with my happiness within and his unhappiness. He is learning slowly.  Sometimes it kind of reminds me of how a turtle moves, s l o w l y, but heck some improvement is better than none.

Does that give you a better picture of choosing happiness or sitting around and being not so happy?

I have always though lemonade taste better then lemons, so when I am faced with something I have always tried to make lemonade out of the situation. When eating a lemon you make a face and when drinking lemonade it will bring a smile to your face.  The lemonade is very refreshing on a warm summer day.

Now wouldn’t you rather drink the lemonade and smile?

If you know of any unhappy people I would love to hear what differences you see that I may be missing.

Looking forward to your comment.

To your happiness every day,
Debbie

  1. That’s right about the last one,
“* Happy people don’t have a problem jumping out of their comfort zone.
    * Unhappy people feel safer in the comfort zone and are going to stay there if possible.”

If we want to reach our dream, we have to jump out from our comfort zone. And it means we have to feel happy!!!
