Choose to be Happy and Love Today!

I love you 300x211 Choose to be Happy and Love Today!

Don't forget to say

One day a woman’s husband died, and that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom.  The wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn’t “anymore”.

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, “just one more minute.”

Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away.  Never to return before we can say good bye, say “I love you.”

While we have it, its best we love it, care for it, fix it when it’s broken and heal it when it’s sick.

This is true for marriage as I stated in my post “Choose to be Happy; Under Any Situation”, old cars, children with bad report cards, dogs with bad hips and family and aging parents and grandparents.

We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.  Sometimes things we keep; like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after a divorce.

There are just something’s that make us happy, no matter what.  Life is important.  We only have one.

We only have one mom, one dad, one unique brother, sister or friend.

I write this post to you because you are a keeper.  Now it is your turn, to let the people in your life know they are keepers.

Suppose one morning you never woke up.  Do all your friends know you love them?

I was thinking…I could die to today, tomorrow or next week and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that need to be rekindled or three words needing to be said.

Let every one of your friends and family know you love them.  Even if you think they don’t love you back.  You would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.

Live today to the fullest, because certainly tomorrow is not promised.

This clearly tells the story of what happiness within is all about!  We spend a lot of our time worrying about the unknown when we have the known right in front of us.

If you’re looking for the secret to happiness checkout the moment.  You can never get that special moment back.  That moment can be a crying child that needs comfort, a friend that needs someone to listen, or an aging parent that needs help.  This is what happiness is all about. PEOPLE, not things.

We all have stuff that needs to be taken care of and things to do, but don’t ever forget to stop and smell the roses.  Tomorrow the roses will wither and be gone.

After reading it I do hope you are enjoying every day as it comes. Days can go so fast that sometimes we do forget to take things one day at a time. I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on life one day at a time.
      Thank for your input,
      Debbie
