The lessons we can learn from young people are very powerful.  Here is a poem written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital.  She wants to see how many people get her poem.

The e-mail that I received was sent by a medical Doctor.

My reason for posting this poem she has written; number one it is beautifully written and it does illustrate what we have to be thankful for and how the little things in life are the secret to happiness.

These days’ people are struggling so much financial that they are saying “I’m not happy because I have no money.  Let us take a closer look at this situation.  Ask yourself these questions:

  • Where did I use my money?
  • Did I really need that big house?
  • Was it really important that I tried to impress my friends and family with all my stuff?

God Wants You Do Be Rich choose happiness

And the list goes on.  I realize that credit out there these days is easy to get.  These credit card companies are just lining up to take all your money.  Isn’t it time that we tell them, “You Can’t Have my money anymore?”

What Really Makes You Happy?

Posted by: Debbie Bills | Comments (0)

I have put together a survey and I really need some help.  Can you take the time to answer my Secret to Happiness question!!!!

choose happiness

Let me know what makes you choose happiness or you can tell me what pisses you off.  I certainly could use some responses one way or another.  Now would be time to turn loss and easily go for it.   You may never have this opportunity again.

The Law of Concentration says that, “Whatever you dwell upon, grows and increases in your life.”

Choose happiness

I learn this lesson years ago when I was a single parent trying to raise 3 daughters.  The more I thought about the money I didn’t have the less money I had.  To correct this problem I started doing a lot of reading about my self-discipline and character.  Learning about whom I really was and what I realized; that who I was is how I saw myself.  Obviously this was not good.  I made the choice to change how I seen myself and that changed who I was.

I had to Learn to Dance in the Rain this week.

secret to happiness

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow!  Ever had one of those weeks where nothing is going right?  I just got through with that week.  My PC (computer) went down.  Just went bye, bye!

Can’t get on the internet with the PC and having a blog and website to take care of was like having a store in a strip mall and the store burns down.  Hey, you’re out of business.  Yes, people can still come to your website and blog and they can still get there free stuff or buy things you have to sell, but you can’t add anything to the store.   You have words going around in your head and all you can do is write them the old fashion way (on paper) so you don’t forget them.

Now really is a hoax going to help you find your happiness within? This is a good example of how screwed up people can be.  We want to be on TV and be recognized and are willing to make little children part of such a plan.  Least he could have done is made a better balloon with a smiley face. happy ballon

I have to admit when my daughter called and told me to turn on the TV and I seen what was unfolding, the first thing I did is get down on my knees and say a prayer for this little 6 year old.  Evidently this little 6 year olds life was in danger.  How many of you out there were doing the same thing?

Here is a beautiful poem that I ran across and I feel it needs to be shared.  This little girl shows us how pride in someone can help us have happiness within.  It shows us how blessed we are, because of one little girls sacrifice.

DADDY’S POEM

Her hair was up in a pony tail, her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy’s Day at school, and she couldn’t wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her, that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand, if she went to school alone.

In raising our children we do not realize how we can be hurting them.  When I was growing up I remember how my mother (bless her heart) used  to tell me you didn’t get the dishes clean, you didn’t scrub the floor right, you can’t do that and the list went on.  She had no idea what she was really doing to me.  She thought she was teaching me and it was her way of trying to get me to do things the right way. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!  The secret to my happiness was going right out the window.

There is a great quote from Eddie Rickenbacker, a fighter pilot in WWII who had to ditch his plane in the ocean.  Eddie and his crew floated on a raft for 3 weeks in the ocean without food or fresh water.

When Eddie was finally rescued he said, “For the rest of my life, if I have a roof over my head and food, I will never complain about anything.”

I n my last posting I received emails from people who apparently are unhappy and they are obviously trying to choose happiness, but keep struggling.   In some of these emails they were having health problems, financial reasons and relationship problems.

I am really excited.  I have a testimonial for my FREE E-Book.  Hey, I know that doesn’t mean much to some, but even when you are taking baby steps it is important.  So, do me a favor and don’t rock my boat or rain on my parade.

This makes me very happy.  It is like this; obviously this blog is about trying to help people choose happiness and if I have helped one person, what more can I ask for.  Like they say, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”  “All good things take time.”
