Yes, I too believe that gratitude is a big part of happiness. when we are grateful for what we have we stop searching for material things to make us happy. And we all know that you can not find happiness in the material things in this world. They may give us a jolt of happiness for a while, but it does not last.

You are right family is one of the indicators of happiness. It is very important to resolve all family conflicts.
