How a Grandmother Stopped the Reccession!

By Debbie Bills

Let face it I have more life experience then some. I want to talk about the average person? You know the neighbor, the guy down the street in a normal community. Not one of those richie communities. The guy just trying to earn a living, trying to survive day by day.

Did you ever meet a person that grew up not having much? They seem to survive rough time’s better than the next guy. They just looked happy regardless of what was going on in the world. Did you ever wonder how they do this?

I know someone like this. She grew up with seven kids in the family and mom and dad. Lived in a four room house with no running water. Her father was a hard working man, but only a hired hand for a farmer. The kitchen was just a room like any other room, so mom had to use tables and dressers for counter space. Bowles for sinks and a stove to cook on that was heated with coal or wood. There was one heating stove in the house that sat in the main room or some people would call that the living room. Really it wasn’t a living room, because at night the couch opened up into a bed for 3 brothers to sleep on. The other two rooms were bedrooms; one for mom and dad and the other a bedroom for the four girls.

The one propane stove in the house just heated up that one room, called the living room by day and bedroom by night. In the winter time the other rooms would get so cold that there was ice on the inside of the windows. When you got dressed in the morning you did it under the covers, because the room was so cold you could see your breathe. Are you getting the picture?

After you grow up, you feel pretty lucky, because life is a little better. Hey, anything would be an improvement.

That experience as a kid has taught you how to survive in and during any tough times. You know what it means to be happy, just because. You can cut back on things and it’s ok. To you tough times are just another challenge. You can make it work. Times like this you pull together and get back to the simple things that are important.

That was me as a kid. I do have to chuckle listening to the news, which I try not to do. Thinks are tough now days; there’s no getting around it. The question is, “Who is going to survive?”
Is it going to be the rich or is it going to be the average middle class and the poor? Who is going to keep their happiness in tough times?

The average person knows how to make the most out of what they have and get the most out of it. They have learned how to make things stretch. I say to all you average and less fortunate people out their; “Are you ready to teach the rich what happiness really is? That money isn’t something that can buy happiness?
The average person knows how to pray and reach out to the Lord, which can really come in handy. They are not too proud to ask for help and smart enough to know when they need help from a higher source.

Let’s face it, I don’t care how smart one person is; there is always another that is smarter. I’m just very thankful that I’m smart enough to recognize this and draw from it. Higher sources are good.

With that said I do want to share one of my secrets for stopping a recession at my house. This Lord’s Prayer has helped me in many ways. I wasn’t without it when I was a child and I wouldn’t be without it now. Here is that wonderful pray in a book or download movie. Click on the link then on movies, scroll down to view The Lords Prayer Movie. You won’t ever again be without it once you’ve see and read this.
Stop your recession now and find your happiness within.

Please leave your comments about the movie. I would love to hear if you feel the same way I do.  My hopes are that you will forward this movie to anyone you feel could use it.     Let him carry you

Thank you
Debbie Dee
